Sharing Experiences with freshman

One of the most difficult part of volunteering is to decide after you were selected. Because some questions begin to appear in your mind. Suddenly you find yourself asking these things.
  • I wonder if will it go well?
  • I wonder if could i do?
  • I wonder if will i meet good friends?
  • I wonder if how will my colleagues be?
But don’t worry about those. You always have to make hard decisions anytime of your life. However dont forget, always beautiful things lies behind the hard decisions.
One of those who will make this a hard decision is Titas. Titas is Lithuanian and new member of our organization and next week he is going to go Ankara/Turkey for volunteering. One of our Turkish volunteers is Turgut interwieved with Titas about volunteering and Turkey. Already Turgut has been working as a volunteer for 3 months in Lithuania and he shared some his experiences with Titas.
My opinions about Titas are quite well. He is very kind, smart, wise and easy-going person. We had a good time with him at interview. He looks responsible, attentive and curious. He is already 18 year-old and aware of some things. Probably you’ll understand from his speech.  As well as he lived in Germany for a long time and he knows some Turkish cultural things and Turkish people because of his Turkish friends. Also Ankara is the second biggest city and capital of Turkey accordingly there are many oppurtunities. Ankara is in the middle of Turkey and has central train station, you can go anywhere you want by train, bus and plane because it is close to everywhere. Probably it will fulfill his expectations. I think he won't have a difficultly in Turkey and he will adapt quickly.
