Almost 5th month in Vilnius - EVS

Hello Everyone;
Weather is still cold and days are very short. But this doesn't prevent you from traveling. İn this part firstly I want to talk about my Warsaw/Poland trip! We found very cheap bus ticket for weekend to Warsaw. İt was only 6 euros for 2 way. İt was super cold but still nice. We took the bus on Friday night and early in morning we were in Warsaw. We had little city tour, it was full of Christmas lights and a  huge Christmas tree. Even if we walked all the day, still there were many beautiful places to see. 

About project: after Christmas, I changed  my class. Before I was going to classroom 2 and now I am going upstairs to classroom 1. Now I have new children who, even if I know them it's new experience  and also challenge to work with them. 

İn school, we had training with all teachers about Montessori Education System and now I do not even give presentation to children about some activities. I can give same basic presentations to children and it's seems like little step to being more teacher than volunteer.

Awakening by Training

İt is only  my second month in Vilnius as volunteer but I already feel that many things have been changed. I feel more stronger despite all of  difficulties.  First, even it's only november, it's not autumn anymore. Weather is very strong and already I have seen first snow here.

Last week I had arrival training in Trakai.  I have meet with many friends and I could see beautiful Trakai. I spend quite good time.  I realize more thing about my aims and my personality.

The and made my aims in order and I decided to focus volunteering more, ignore all problems which is only make me more stressful.
Only after a short time I just realized that how is impossible. I am talking about my problematic flatmate. She was medicine before than coming as volunteer to here and I dont know how this accident happen and one sycophant would success to be volunteer but it was very hard 2 month for all of my flatmates. 

The beginning of new journey in Lithuania

Hello, I am Eda from Turkey. I am part of this organization and I am spending my time as a volunteer in Montessori pre-school in Lithuania. I am here almost for 1 month and this month passed very quickly because it was full of exciting trips and meetings with my great new friends.

On the first day my tutor picked me up from Vilnius airport and took me to my flat which is at 14th floor with a great view. She was so nice and she still is.

About Lithuania:

After one month here I can say that Lithuania is a great country to live in (just ignoring the cold weather). Even though it is so cold here, people here are very nice and friendly.
Food is very very cheap here even in the restaurants. There are plenty of second hand shops here where cheap clothes are available. Also in the markets (Maxima, Rimi, etc...) it is possible to find cheap things.
